The DTP operates a general funding extension application scheme, considering applications for a funding extension on a case-by-case basis, that any ACCE DTP student may apply to if severe unforeseen circumstances have disrupted their work (this can include personal difficulties and poor health, including conditions associated with long covid).
Generally applications to this extension scheme are considered from students in years 3 and 4.
You may apply to this scheme at any time by submitting a case for your extension (in a Word document) to acce.dtp@liverpool.ac.uk. Please ensure that your case for an extension is clearly set out, that you state the length of extension you are applying for, and that your supervisor adds a note to the document to support this application.
There are no formal deadlines or rounds for applying to this scheme: you may apply at any time.
